Global
Andy Morris, Senior Director, Business Development & Strategy
Andy Morris, Senior Director of Worldwide Strategy and Business Development, is responsible for developing Egencia’s global strategy and building and maintaining international partnerships. He joins Egencia from the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he managed teams in the firm’s Travel & Tourism practice.
Mr. Morris began his career in consulting at Bain & Company, where he worked with clients across a number of industries, including work on the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games. He left Bain to spend several years in private equity before pursuing his MBA at Wharton.
While in graduate school, Andy completed an internship at Delta Air Lines, and spent the last several years focused on hotel and airline industry clients with BCG.
Mr. Morris considers travel an avocation in addition to his vocation, and his travels have taken him to over 50 countries on all seven continents.
Thibaud De Fressenel, Senior Director, Human Resources
Thibaud de Fressenel, Senior Director, Human Resources, is responsible for leading Egencia human resources programs globally. He has a long track record of HR leadership roles for several large multinational US corporations. Mr. De Fressenel originally began working for Egencia in 2003 where he put in place many of the company's current programs and successfully hired many key members of the team.
Prior to joining Egencia, Mr. De Fressenel lead European HR programs for Maxtor, one of the largest suppliers of hard disk drives and storage products. He has also held leadership roles at Cadbury Schweppes and Dell, Inc.
Paolo De Ruggiero, Vice President, Finance
Paolo de Ruggiero, Vice President, Finance, is one of the most recent additions to the Egencia leadership team. An Italian national and a Paris resident, Mr. de Ruggiero has a long track record in financial leadership across multiple industries and countries.
Mr. de Ruggiero joined Egencia from GE, where he has held three consecutive CFO positions in 8 years with fast growing responsibilities within GE Capital. The last one covered 10 specialist banks and consumer lending platforms in 7 European countries, managing a team of 300 and an asset base of 30 Bn $. He has lent his expertise in a number of business development activities ranging from JVs with retail banks, acquisitions and disposals, greenfield operations, commercial B2B partnerships and portfolio management.
Prior to joining GE, he spent 4 years as the Asia CFO for the leading Italian clothier GFT, based in Hong Kong. A big part of his scope was related to the joint venture activities of the fashion conglomerate in the PRC, including the launch of retail and franchised distribution.
Earlier in his career Mr. de Ruggiero held several finance positions with United Technologies and Crown, in Treasury, FP&A, and controllership roles in several European Countries and the US.
Mr. de Ruggiero has a BS in Economics from the University of Rome and an MBA from Purdue University. Passionate for Roman history, he is also an opera enthusiast and a wine collector.
Ronen Elad, Expedia Vice President and Associate General Counsel
Ronen Elad, Expedia Vice President and Associate General Counsel, is responsible for managing the legal process for Egencia globally.
Prior to joining Expedia, Mr. Elad was a corporate partner at DLA Piper in Los Angeles and prior to that worked at major international firms both in the United States and Hong Kong. Following law school, Mr. Elad clerked for Chief Justice E. Norman Veasey of the Supreme Court of Delaware.
Mr. Elad received his law degree from Columbia University School of Law and has a degree in History from the University of Washington.
Christophe Peymirat, Vice President of Global Marketing
As Vice President, Global Marketing, Christophe Peymirat drives the creation of unique travel products and services to meet the needs of customers worldwide.
Prior to 2010, Mr. Peymirat served as Vice President and Managing Director of Egencia’s UK operations, a position he had held since 2004. As part of the original Egencia team in Paris, Mr. Peymirat served initially as Director of Product Development, and later as Director of Large Accounts.
Mr. Peymirat’s career began working for L'Oreal as a Sales and Marketing Executive. He went on to work for Bain & Company as a Business Consultant.
Mr. Peymirat graduated in 1994 from HEC School of Management in Paris, where he specialized in Finance.
Simon Tam, Senior Vice President, Product and Technology
As the Senior Vice President of Product and Technology for Egencia, Simon Tam leads the global team responsible for strategic planning, marketing, management and development of the corporate travel product offering in addition to technology direction.
Since Expedia® Corporate Travel’s launch in 2002, Mr. Tam and his team have helped to spur the company to its current standing as the number one on-demand, full-service corporate travel agency. Mr. Tam will continue to guide his team as Egencia extends its reach into global markets, and continues to build upon business intelligence to develop a compelling corporate travel ecosystem.
Mr. Tam originally joined Expedia in 1996 as a primary developer on the American Express/AXI project, which was Expedia’s first foray into corporate travel. While working on this project he helped launch three versions of AXI, which successfully became one of the first online booking tools in the travel industry.
Prior to joining Expedia, Mr. Tam was a software engineer at Microsoft working on a variety of teams ranging from handwriting recognition and interactive television. He also served in the role of technical evangelist promoting technical development for Windows NT in corporate environments.
Cecilia Routledge, Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Cecilia Routledge, Managing Director Asia Pacific has over 15 years experience of developing new countries, in particular in EMEA and Latin America. Ms. Routledge has worked for Egencia since 2004 in various positions such Global Strategy and Product Marketing for EMEA.
Ms. Routledge joined Egencia from National Grid Transco where she worked on defining their global strategies and developing their non-regulated businesses from the UK headquarters.
Previously, she worked for Tele2 in Europe and Millicom International Cellular, both primarily owned by the Kinnevik Group, a Swedish Investment company, based in their global headquarters in Luxembourg. She was with the group for about 7 years, where she help to build companies in the early start-up phase, but also through ongoing financial control of JVs in Eastern Europe and Latin America and corporate finance related issues.
Ms. Routledge has a MS in Business Administration and Economics from University of Uppsala University, Sweden and a Master of International Management from École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Lausanne, Switzerland.
Christophe Pingard, Senior Vice President, Egencia EMEA & APAC
Christophe Pingard oversees all business operations of Egencia’s operations throughout Europe and APAC. Mr. Pingard has worked in the corporate travel industry for seven years, joining the original Egencia in Paris in 2001 as Managing Director for France.
Prior to Egencia, Mr. Pingard worked for 12 years at Steelcase, a worldwide leader in office furniture, including a position as Managing Director for France and EMEA. Throughout his career, Mr. Pingard has worked exclusively in business-to-business markets, providing corporations solutions that empower them to be more competitive.
Mr. Pingard holds a Masters Degree in Management and a graduate degree in Quality and Innovation Management. He lives near Paris with his two children. Mr. Pingard enjoys sports, including skiing, golf and tennis, and reading historical literature.
Mark Hollyhead, Senior Vice President, Egencia Americas
Mark Hollyhead’s background spans several disciplines and industries, including sales, marketing, account management, operations and business management in the travel, hotels and telecommunications industries. He started his career at Forte Hotels where he led a number of sales and marketing functions until 1995.
After which he spent 15 years at British Airways where he held key positions including Vice President of eCommerce, Vice President of Customer Contact USA, and Head of Revenue Management for the long haul business worldwide. He completed his tenure at BA as the Head of Heathrow Customer Operations, leading a major terminal consolidation and future design for the airport.
Prior to joining Egencia, Mark was the Head of Transformation at Vodafone UK.
Mark has an MBA from the City of London Business School. He recently relocated from London to Seattle with his wife and daughter.
Rob Greyber, President
Rob Greyber serves as President of Egencia, and is responsible for setting corporate strategy and overseeing global operations. Prior to being named President, Mr Greyber served as Egencia's Senior Vice President, North America.
Mr. Greyber joined Expedia, Inc. in 2004 as Vice President, Expedia® Partner Services Group, and was responsible for all aspects of Expedia’s relationships with airline partners in North America.
Prior to Expedia, Mr. Greyber served as Vice President for a venture-backed software company based in San Francisco. Before that, he served in senior management roles at Scient Corporation, leading numerous strategy and technology client engagements. At Scient, Mr. Greyber was responsible for leading the team that designed and engineered the initial web and operating infrastructure for Hotwire.com, now a subsidiary of Expedia, Inc.
Prior to Scient, Mr. Greyber was an Associate with Deutsche Bank’s Mergers and Acquisitions group, based in Hong Kong and began his career with Electronic Data Systems Corporation.
Mr. Greyber holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Accounting, and a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in English Literature from the University of Maryland, College Park.
APAC
Annie Pan, Country Director, China
Annie Pan, Country Director of Egencia China, manages our China business. Her responsibilities include strategy formulation, sales, product development, and customer services. Prior to being named China Country Director, Ms. Pan served as Egencia’s Director of Alliances for Asia Pacific.
Before joining Expedia, Ms. Pan was a Management Consultant with a leading global strategy consulting firm, servicing clients in Greater China. She worked on growth, M&A, and product strategy for clients in the consumer products, industrial, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Ms. Pan holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, a Masters of Public Policy from the University of California at Berkeley, and a degree in Economic, Accounting, and Literature from Claremont McKenna College.
Gaurav Sundaram, Country Director, India
Gaurav Sundaram, Country Director, Egencia India, brings extensive expertise in corporate travel management from previous executive positions, including Chief Executive Officer for Lionel India (formerly Rosenbluth International India). A proven, high-energy leader with nearly 20 years experience and notable success in the travel services industry, Mr. Sundaram leads the Egencia team in India, overseeing the business operations of sales, account management and exemplary, localized customer service.
Immediately prior to his position with Egencia, Mr. Sundaram was the Managing Director of ProKonsul, the India affiliate of Management Alternatives INC., USA, a global global consortium of consultants offering domain expertise in managed business travel, technology and global best practice.His previous assignments included stints as Country Manager India for Utell International and Director Asia for Global Experts in Travel (GET).
As part of the Egencia team, Mr. Sundaram adds significant depth of knowledge in the India business travel environment coupled with wide exposure in business development , marketing and strategic account management and is a certified Corporate Travel Expert (CTE) holding professional qualifications from IATA, Switzerland. Mr. Sundaram holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from Delhi University.
Ken Pfaffmann, Country Director, Australia
As the Country Director of Egencia Australia, Ken Pfaffmann oversees business operations for the Australian market including sales, account managment and customer service. His objective is to consistently deliver exceptional service and help corporate clients proactively manage their travel program by leveraging Egencia's full-service travel offering.
Prior to joining Egencia, Mr. Pfaffmann worked for Virgin Charter where he was responsble for creating and driving their customer service organization and strategy, supporting the industry's first online marketplace to charter private jets. In his most recent position at Virgin Charter, Mr. Pfaffmann was responsible for defining and executing the companies product strategy.
With more than 15 years of experience in business planning, customer service and product managment in the travel and technology industries, Pfaffmann has a history of leading fast-growing and innovative organizations. Prior to Virgin Charter, Mr. Pfaffmann led Expedia Corporate Travel's customer service teams responsible for U.S. delivery of VIP travel services and service center business management.
Mr. Pfaffmann holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Santa Clara University in the United States. He lives in Sydney with his wife and two children
